Animal Chiropractic Certification

Animal Chiropractic is not meant to replace traditional veterinary care. Animal chiropractic is not intended to replace traditional veterinary care, but is a way to keep animals healthy, active, and energetic. Chiropractic care is tremendously beneficial for healthy animals, and can also be used to treat animals that are experiencing specific problems and conditions. By dealing with a Certified Animal Chiropractor, you are assured of the services of a skilled, dedicated professional who will work to provide the very safest care.
Issues related to sports and wellness and professional nutritional sciences are taught. With chiropractic problems, you need a chiropractor who is experienced, understanding and supportive. One of the most requested programs to date has been the Chiropractic Sports Physician course.

Equine professionals are eligible for certification through the certification course. Earning certification from the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association ACCC represents a significant professional achievement. Certificants are responsible for renewing their certification every 3 years. Up to 3 total CEUs can be awarded for accepted questions. Once the Test is passed you get your Associate Certification. To maintain certification, the chiropractor must have completed an AVCA-recognized certification course and regularly keep up with continuing education courses.

The American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association began as a small group of veterinarians who were interested in a holistic approach to veterinary medicine. Chinese medicine does not draw a sharp line, as Western medicine does, between mind and body. Holistic veterinary medicine often has the potential to help, and sometimes cure, diseases otherwise thought to be degenerative or non-curable. Unlike conventional medicine, which seeks to suppress symptoms, homeopathic remedies encourage the body to do its own healing. EIVS is currently comprised of 6 equine veterinarians, all certified in veterinary acupuncture and chiropractic. In western medical terms, acupuncture can assist the body to heal itself by affecting certain physiological changes.
