Chiropractic Stroke

The primary goal of chiropractic care is to improve patient outcomes by providing cost-effective and safe treatment for the relief of debilitating pain symptoms. After a consultation and exam, the doctor will determine if you may benefit from chiropractic care. Chiropractic care is a safe, effective and natural approach to managing pain and other health related issues. Patients who have experienced the health benefits of chiropractic care know the value of treatment in improving their overall health. Most patients will feel immediate relief from chiropractic adjustments and manipulation, whereas the results of traditional medical treatment may take much longer to achieve. Chiropractic care and methods are adapted to the individual and continue to be specific, but gentle treatments.

Positive associations were found for both chiropractic and PCP visits and subsequent stroke in patients less than 45 years of age. To test for a causal relationship, nine specific criteria were used. In patients older than 45, no increased association between VBA strokes and chiropractic visits were found.
An ischemic stroke occurs when blood flow to the brain is restricted by a clot in an blood vessel. As soon as blood is not getting to the brain, the brain tissue begins to die. A hemorrhagic stroke occurs when a blood vessel in part of the brain becomes weak and bursts open, causing blood to leak into the brain. The blood in the aortic wall forms a clot, thickening the artery wall and often impeding blood flow. All or part of the clot may break off and travel up the artery to the brain where it can interrupt blood flow and cause a stroke. When the brain tissue is weakened or dies because of a lack of blood flow, the person will being to have stroke-like symptoms.

Patellofemoral Syndrome commonly presents as pain just deep to the kneecap, which increases when walking down stairs. Bone spur in neck cannot lift arms to a T with Deltoid muscles invites the question whether it is due to pain or weakness.
